Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Financials Systems Administration department at United is responsible for the day to day administration, testing and training related to our Oracle ERP system and other related finance applications. We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and play a key role in supporting our Accounts Payable applications. Support Oracle ERP users and act as a liaison between IT and the finance and accounting groups Troubleshoot Accounts Payable and Cash Management issues; identify root causes and implement solutions Assist in supervision of offshore Accounts Payable staff Assist in monitoring daily Accounts Payable activity Special projects for Global Accounts Payable and Cash Management Take part in testing and configuration related to finance system upgrades and enhancements Conduct periodic refresher training and training for new implementations Required Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of professional experience with financial system implementations or financial system administration using Oracle R12 ERP modules, particularly GL, AP, Cash Management and EB-Tax Experience with domestic and international payables, including VAT and withholding taxes Experience writing reports and dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence Experience creating training manuals and conducting in person or WebEx trainings to large user groups Ability to perform in a fast-paced, constantly changing business environment demonstrating a win-win attitude and internal customer service Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail including a strong working knowledge of database and spreadsheet fundamentals Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional groups to identify creative solutions and present results in a concise logical manner Ability to manage multiple unrelated tasks at once Position is located at United s Corporate Support Center in downtown Chicago Candidate must be willing to travel 10-20% including international travel Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Preferred CPA or MBA Additional experience in accounting related position(s).
