Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Purpose: Seeking a nationally recognized leader for the fraud and forensic services practice (managing director candidate) with significant expertise in forensic accounting, corporate and regulatory investigations, compliance, and expert testimony matters. Candidate will be responsible for creating successful revenue streams through clients and referrals. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying potential clients and building and maintaining new and existing relationships. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Secure new forensic services engagements Provide testifying expert or consulting services related to those engagements Secure new regulatory and corporate investigations Secure new compliance related engagements Manage local marketing efforts related to those activities Expand national forensic accounting resources Develop staff members, both technically and professionally Oversee investigations and financial analyses Prepare written reports, exhibits and demonstratives Continue to develop skills and technical expertise to facilitate delivery of expert testimony Deliver marketing and/or technical presentations Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership abilities Excellent client-management skills Critical and logical thinking abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Creative problem-solving skills Ability to critically analyze financial statements and other financial documents Understanding of litigation process Ability to critique alternative arguments/opinions Education and/or Training: The candidate should be an established individual within the forensic accounting and investigations field with an existing base of contacts within large organizations nationally. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. MBA degree a plus. CPA preferred, CFE and other professional designations a plus (CFF, CAMS, CFA, ASA, CIA) Previous regulatory agency positions held a plus (SEC, DOJ, FBI, AUSA).
