Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Major Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for coordination and production of various investment banking projects and tasks, including: Detailed financial modeling, valuation and analysis Pitchbooks and other presentations Company and industry analysis Buyers lists Confidential memorandas and management presentations Deal execution tasks Overall project management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have a minimum of 1 year of deal execution experience and be proficient in the following: All standard investment banking valuation methodologies Detailed financial modeling, including ability to create fully integrated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow model Various steps in the sell-side execution process Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to train and mentor analysts Key Characteristics: The following characteristics are critical for an investment banking analyst/associate: Strong time management skills Attention to detail Strong acumen Sense of urgency Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Education and/or Training: 4-year degree required, with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferable.
