Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This individual will coordinate interior projects, working closely with site customers, Facilities and Construction, and Space Management associates to ensure that that Advocate's interior improvement projects are completed timely and in compliance with standards. This position may require travel to Advocate owned and leased properties. Accountabilities: Coordinate interior projects, working closely with site customers, Facilities and Construction, and Space Management associates to ensure that that Advocate's interior improvement projects are completed timely and in compliance with standards. Collaborates with site customers, Facilities, Construction and Space Management to plan and implement projects. Coordinates purchase of items and services and adheres to budget plans with an eye to cost management and cost reduction. You Will Need: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years prior experience in construction or interior design project management with minimum of 2 years experience in hospital or health care field, knowledge of OSHA codes and building codes Basic skills in computer word processing, scheduling, and accounting spreadsheets. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical data. Excellent communication skills. Self~ambulation in order to visit job sites on campus. Ability to walk on stairs, ladders, climb scaffolding, and visit dusty environments is required. Traveling to sites throughout the system, which requires access to vehicle.
