Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties: Organize and coordinate application development using industry standard techniques and software design patterns. Perform analysis, design, and coding for custom applications using Java/J2EE technologies, including XML, Oracle/Sql Server. Perform defect fixing and performance tuning for the existing applications. Generate customized reports for the higher management. Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, IT Consultant, or related role. Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: communicating with business users to collect business requirements and translating the business requirements into functional requirements; preparing high level and low level design documents; performing analysis, design, and coding for custom applications using Java/J2EE technologies including XML; and performing defect fixing and performance tuning for existing applications.
