Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This pursuit professional will provide project management expertise to increase the overall efficiency of complex proposal efforts known as pursuits. Planning Understand RFP requirements and project objectives and appropriately assign tasks Assess activity effort and create overall project schedule Establish clear and realistic objectives Demonstrate leadership and teamwork through active participation in large project/pursuit planning meetings Develop project management tools and leverage existing Pursuit Management best practices Interact with Knowledge Management group to gather research and competitive intelligence Technology and Data Management Exceptional Excel skills and the ability to manage large evolving data sets Experience working with complex, high-volume sales, contact management, and/or financial systems Ability to work with senior leaders to understand and manage reporting and analytics requirements Implementation Drive pursuit process efficiency Manage the overall process for the client and internal teams according to the schedule to ensure timely completion of key activities Gather boilerplate responses that may require slight customizationManage issues escalation and responseBalance priorities and provide regular communication and updates to teamsManage deliverables, production, and delivery logistics to ensure pursuit response is received on-schedule in accordance with client requirements Quality Control Manage and administer document revision control Review content for accuracy, adherence to brand and legal compliance and editorial guidelines, and consistency in message and style Collaborate with team to achieve on-time completion with a high level of qualityConduct quality control reviews throughout the various drafts of the proposal Close Participate in debriefs to gain benefits from lessons learnedHelp adopt resulting best practices. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degreePMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification5 years of project management experience3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications or business development Preferred Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies Excellent written and oral communication skills Team-oriented with the ability to work with people at all levels Grace under pressure and the ability to thrive in a demanding, deadline-driven environment Attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously Experience in professional services environment preferred.
