Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The candidate will be actively involved in the independent oversight of liquidity risk (e.g. liquidity metrics, stress testing, contingency funding plan, intraday, collateral). Additional duties and responsibilities include: Lead critical projects with high-impact on the company liquidity position and financial performance Support senior management and regulators communications Enhance the assessment, monitoring and reporting of liquidity risks, Ensure compliance with established limits and perform periodic limit recalibration Ensure the firm is operating in compliance with liquidity based regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE 5 years of experience in a banking organization, ideally within a major bank Bachelor s degree in economics, finance, or other related field required Master s degree in economics, finance, or other related field, with quantitative background a plus Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to move multiple high-visibility projects forward at once Self-starter with willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment Independent and critical thinking skills and strong financial acumen Analytical background and good knowledge of standard quantitative methods applied to finance Team player with unquestionable integrity and ethical standards Good understanding of financial instruments and bank s balance sheet Experience with liquidity risk or the treasury function at a banking organization a plus Understanding of liquidity regulation including, but not limited to, LCR, Regulation YY, NSFR, SR 16-3, and FR2052a Familiarity with vendor software and other fixed income products (such as Bloomberg) Strong verbal and written communication skills; including the development and delivery of presentations Proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
