Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The desired candidate will have demonstrated experience managing a variety of clients, leading a team of talented landscape architects and shepherding projects of varying scales and complexity. The preferred candidate will also possess excellent business development and marketing skills that will help expand our Firm s Landscape Architecture practice. Additionally, an ability to manage projects and coordinate teams while working collaboratively with our design groups across multiple disciplines design groups is required. The selected candidate will also be responsible for contract negotiation, client billing, budgeting and estimating. Job Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or another related field Professional Registration is Preferred but not required. A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in both the public and private sectors Specific design experience is preferred in the following areas: Park & Recreation Design, Urban & Streetscape Design, Mixed-Use, Commercial & Retail Design, Campus Master Planning Leadership in marketing outreach and project specific business development endeavors Experience with construction documentation for high quality design projects, material research, specification writing, detailing, and construction administration experience is required Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interface with varied levels of Management Strong graphic skills, both computer and hand drawn Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD Portfolio of relevant projects and experience.
