Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The VP Project Portfolio Management role is a critical role within the Strategy Management function of the Customer & Digital Experience team. This role leads all the efforts focused on instilling strong discipline within CDE in the areas of Project Management and Execution Priorities. This role is also the key point of contact for the GPMO organization within Enterprise O&T and ensures the CDE team is fully compliant with all project management requirements at the enterprise level. The candidate will manage a best in class project portfolio management process that is based on rigorous routines, reporting, project tollgate process, and change control management. Responsible for directing and overseeing the Project Portfolio Management Office to ensure our key strategic projects and programs meet organization goals and requirements. Provide leadership team with timely reporting of the composition and health of the project portfolio. Collaborate with project managers to understand project objectives and needs through all phases of a project or program, from creation of project charter and identification of key stakeholders and required resources, to project planning and execution. Ensuring our key strategic projects are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time and cost requirements. Ensure alignment of initiatives/projects across key strategic alignments. Developing, managing and evolving the Change Management Control process to meet business needs, partnering with Project and Program Manager on assessing the impact of changes in the projects and programs. Oversees work to ensure CDE s adherence to the Citi Standard for Organization PMOs (CSPMO) policy and standards by establishing the minimum requirements for Citi Functions, Regions and Products (together, Organizations ) to manage and govern an effective Program Management Office (PMO). Takes ownership of key routines such as Executive Business Reviews, bi-weekly Execution Priorities and Project Portfolio reviews. Also includes documentation, tracking and reporting of all actions and decisions from CDE leadership routines, holding action owners accountable for their follow ups. Partners with Execution Priority owners to ensure accurate reporting of the monthly metrics and quarterly milestones and leading other ad-hoc projects or initiatives as needed. 5 years experience in project management and reporting roles within large organizations; PMP certification required Bachelor's degree with focus in economics or finance; MBA preferred 5-10 years of direct, relevant experience preferably in financial services, payments industry, consumer banking, or digital Strong track record of professional excellence and achievement Previous managerial experience in managing high performance teams Demonstrates history of driving change and managing for results Influence - have the ability to inspire, be persuasive and be a leader. Act with a real sense of urgency to move others to action Curious and courageous - Demonstrate an appetite to learn new things. Takes initiative and is not afraid to go against popular opinion Adaptable - remains calm and optimistic under pressure and adapts well to unexpected situations. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty Quantitative thinker with excellent analytical skills Self-starter who can work independently to drive results Advanced PC skills, extremely proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willingness and ability to work across all levels of organization Strong attention to detail and follow through Proven experience in developing senior executive presentations and communications Ability to garner support and secure buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders; ability to create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies and decision makers to deliver end-products Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at one time Pragmatic problem-solver, forward thinker with independence of thought Self-motivated with a passion to support the transformation of the Global Consumer Bank towards a leading global digital bank Must be a passionate advocate for the customer and a champion for change, willing to speak up and challenge the status quo in order to build a truly customer-centric organization and culture.
