Job Responsibilities and Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule. Ensuring the timely communication and completion of service and warranty work with an emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Work with the Electrical Foreman and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed Troubleshoot and resolve solar electric warranty and service issues that arise with: modules, inverters, monitoring and balance of system components Assist with scheduling, preparing (completing pre-inspection QA/QC checklist), and completing site inspections when applicable Assist with site audits on sold systems (take measurements, photographs, notes, and shading measurements of project sites) Communicate with the Construction Supervisor, and Engineering Team members to resolve any redline issues Utilize software systems to record progress of various tasks REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS) High School diploma is required, college degree is preferred Candidate must have a valid state or local Electrical Journeyman certification or license. In states where no Journeyman level certification is available (currently AZ and NY), the candidate must have 8,000 hrs. of electrical experience and pass a hands-on practical evaluation given by the local license holder Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards 3 years of previous field construction experience preferred Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed PV design or PV Electrical experience is preferred Excellent customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Professional appearance and interaction Strong computer skills Maintain valid Drivers License and must be able to travel to multiple sites throughout the day.
