Financial Analyst

Duties: On behalf of a global investment bank, conduct quantitative analyses of financial information affecting investment programs and inform investment decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions. Utilize knowledge of fixed income products including U.S. treasuries, agency and supranational bonds, interest rate swaps, interest rate options and mortgage-backed securities to maintain client relationships with major U.S. institutional clients including asset managers, Government Sponsored Enterprises, banks, hedge funds, and insurance companies. Provide clients with market color, analysis, trade ideas and execution services across broad suite of products. Leverage experience with global government bonds, interest rate derivatives, and mortgage backed securities to execute transactions in primary and secondary markets. Model complex regulatory capital/funding impacts of new trades via proprietary systems to ensure equity return goals met. Provide clients with tailored access to financial research. Utilize knowledge of Dodd-Frank, European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), and Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFid) II to advise pursuant to regulatory financial compliance. Utilize Excel, Bloomberg, and proprietary systems to price, model, and trade fixed income products. Liaise with trading desk to price transactions, ensure accurate levels are communicated to clients, and assist with large risk transfers. Analyze funding, counterparty credit risk, and capital to determine impact regarding client facing derivative trades. Conduct interest rate valuation and assess absolute and relative value of rates to clients. Assess impact of economic data on rates and Foreign Exchange (FX) markets. Analyze and assess relevance of domestic and international monetary policy on macro markets. Manage operational systems and processes to provide smooth front to back execution of trades. Execute trades and manage liquidity, pricing, and relationships. Requirements: Minimum of Bachelor s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or related field and two (2) years of experience as a financial analyst for an investment banking institution. Must have at least two (2) years of experience with each of the following required skills: (1) Interest Rate Valuation; (2) Economic Data on Rates and FX Markets; (3) Monetary Policy Analysis regarding Macro markets; (4) Trade Idea Generation; (5) Trade Execution; (6) Excel; (7) Bloomberg. This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Employee Referral Program.
