Compliance Quality Engineer

Responsibilities Quality Innovation. Work with internal (and potentially external) stakeholders, including Engineering QA team, to develop an innovative, low-friction, effective approach to compliance quality. Build framework, strategy, and execution plans to achieve end-to-end quality that includes third-party integrations. Establish process where it's nonexistent and needed, and continually improve existing process Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work with Compliance to understand regulatory requirements; Product to provide holistic evaluation of product features and advise on compliance and integration risk; Engineering to develop and execute automated and manual testing; and Services to conduct manual investigation into pre- and post-prod issues Insatiable Curiosity. Identify and solve for known unknowns and unknown unknowns. Identify risks to product quality, develop plans for mitigation, and work with internal stakeholders to obtain buy-in and to address such risks. Build feedback loops across the company to identify and remediate issues that present risk to the company Compliance Program Effectiveness. Conduct periodic internal reviews and help coordinate external audits. Develop internal tracking, reporting, and dashboards for efficient assessment of compliance program effectiveness. Collaborate with colleagues on remediation and corrective actions resulting from internal reviews, external audits, and self-identified issues Requirements Experience in a tech company or start-up environment Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline 3 years testing experience in a fast-paced agile based testing environment Strong development skills for scripting performance tests, and generating/querying datasets Experience writing detailed test cases Skilled in JavaScript, Node, Angular JS, SQL Experience with GitHub, Jira, TestRail, Jenkins Skilled communicator who can effectively work cross-functionally and lead through influence Meticulously organized with ability to successfully handle disparate projects in parallel Ability to work independently and adaptively, anticipate and mitigate friction points, and take initiative to promptly resolve and learn from challenges.
