Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Major Accountabilities: Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of U.S. and foreign/PCT patent filing and prosecution procedures at sufficient level to be able to adequately explain to others. Proactively and independently fulfill U.S. and foreign/PCT patent filing and prosecution tasks (e.g. review, analyze and manage deadlines / docket and settle deadlines / maintain state of the art literature lists / review and process daily mail). Take ownership and overall responsibility for the completeness and correctness of patent application files. Organize and proactively coordinate attorney work relating to patent applications. Detect and communicate patent portfolio and docketing data inconsistencies according to set guidelines, analyze and report findings and propose solutions to manager. Ability to analyze and adapt processes in order to improve efficiency. Actively participate in team projects and provide deliverables on an agreed timeline. Understand implications of changes to country patent laws, and assist in incorporating relevant changes in worldwide filing processes. Ability to guarantee continuity of Patent Services procedures in absence of supervision.
