Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Construction Project Management Takes projects from original concept through final implementation Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets and status reports Responsible for project tracking and analysis Responsible for developing execution plans to achieve construction project milestones and to minimize costs for a single project or area Oversees project execution and monitors critical path schedules and deliverables Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules Facilities ManagementParticipates in Corporate and Field office site inspections, coordinates and submits reports to Corporate Facilities Manager regarding equipment and repairs machinery as needed.Develops and adheres to preventative maintenance programs. Creates operating manuals and reference documents for routine and specialized equipment and processes.Maintains compliance with all Heath, Safety & Environment (HSE) safety programs and partners with HSE team for regular Facilities Maintenance, employee education and special projects.Promotes continuous process improvement by reviewing and mentoring junior employeesAssists in the day-to-day operations of facilities management: o Maintain and assist with floorplans and office space assignments including internal moves, new hires, and reorganizations by gaining an understanding of the business organization o Handle purchasing of furniture, equipment and supplies including weighing of different options, price comparisons, and other business driven analysis Provide Audio Visual support throughout suite conference rooms, executive offices and Board Room, troubleshooting routine issues and managing vendor Repairs & Maintenance and relationships Maintain access badge and camera systems within suites Provide support for meetings and conference room reservations as needed Assists with Mailroom and Reception coverage Manage and coordinate work with 3rd party vendors including: tracking work order completion, vendor and client follow up, validating/approving subcontractor invoices and ensuring high service levels are achieved. Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours, including weekends when necessary o Perform administrative tasks such as issuing work orders, preparing management reports, and preparing quotes and cost estimates Provide professional and technical guidance in the development and implementation of facility planning, standards, projects, space planning, move coordination and furniture specification and installation coordination The successful Senior Facilities Specialist will have the ability to: Communicate effectively with company employees, department representatives and customers in a courteous, professional and timely manner Work independently as well as in a group setting Suggest ideas and accept feedback Plan, organize and solve problems Effectively manage time (multitasking) and utilize logical decision-making Minimum Qualifications: 5 years experience in facilities management with supervisory experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organizationStrong work ethic with excellent attention to detailCustomer service approach with corporate services experience Strong project management skills with a focus on results Ability to adapt, learn on the fly and be flexible Working knowledge of budget development and adherence Valid Drivers License Required Knowledge of construction practices, and mechanical, plumbing and electrical building systems Ability to read and understand Construction blueprints and diagrams Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree Oil & Gas Experience Administration.
