Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: supervision of one or more manpower crews and where applicable provide guidance and training to apprentices on crews. planning, organizing and assigning work to be done by manpower crews and monitor conformance to quality and safety standards. providing input into cost saving methods as they relate to manpower; scheduling and materials used. assisting the project superintendent in the supervision of subtrades. monitoring crew's productivity, track manhours and material costs for work performed. managing, receiving and reporting materials used on site. managing the storage, security and maintenance of specific tools and manuals. assisting in the management, implementation and monitoring of the safety and environment programs including chairing tailgate meetings, orienting new crew members, inspections, conduction preliminary accident/incident investigations and initiating PSI program. Qualifications: Must have 10 years of water infrastructure construction experience with increasing responsibilities.
