Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Primary Responsibilities Work with brokers and underwriters to design insurance programs that address North America risks and exposures and mesh with Group programs.Develop insurance submission packages for underwriters, including presentations on Veolia. Engage on large, complex claims, including property, environmental, and professional liability. Coordinate loss forecasting and actuarial reporting for the Group and Business Units Collaborate with Finance on premium allocation modeling including budgeting for the Business Units Oversee annual Group Risk Mapping activities, including interviews, analysis of data, and reporting on results. Lead property loss control efforts, including management of vendor. Communicate with Group Captive Manager on actuarial reserve analysis and loss forecasting. Develop renewal presentations for various underwriters. Analyze carrier collateral requirements Conduct Insurance and Risk Training for Business Development, Human Resources, Operations and EH&S for the Business Units Engage with the Group and Business Unit Finance teams Advise and support on risk mitigation and transfer for business development and M&A activity; including contract and lease review Skills Needed Strong technical insurance skills, including coverage analysis. Ability to negotiate insurance terms and conditions and pricing. Working knowledge of actuarial reporting and loss forecasting and ability to communicate results to various audiences. Hands-on experience with complex claims, including property, environmental, and professional liability. Understanding of reverse flow insurance programs and captives. Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities. Ability to communicate complex material to various audiences.
