Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Communicates clear goals and objectives to team on a regular basis. Sets priorities for employees aligned with account strategy: 1. Achievement of strategic goals; Sales plans and financial targets. Collaborates with Directors to establish retail sales plan. Align and allocate resources with the biggest ROI, identify risk and opportunities to ensure we maximize resources. 2. Improve Market share by identifying opportunities: Evaluates competitive challenges for Brand and identifies opportunities for growth and profit enhancement. Monitors competitive activity and trends in markets and communicates to NYO (changing consumers, products, consumer activations and channels). 3. Stabilize department Stores: Build strong business relationships with key retailers and work collaboratively in the development of the market strategies that drive growth in Top DMA s/ Top Malls- New York, Wash DC, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Greensboro, Baltimore, Charlotte, Raleigh, Cleveland, Nashville and Pittsburgh. This includes all traffic driving initiatives, new product launches, basic business growth and promotional strategies (Gift with Purchase, Special Events). 4. Grow the Specialty Multi channel through flawless execution. Align the East with deployment strategies that will ensure consistent growth in Ulta and Sephora. 5. Selection, development, and retention of direct reports and field executives. Selects talented Directors, Sales and Education Executives/ Education Executives and fills open positions in a timely manner. Oversee orientation process of all direct reports. Executes development plans resulting in the measurable improvement of direct report s performance. Evaluates employee s performance annually and in a timely fashion. Develops succession planning within the market with Field team. Fosters productive working relationships resulting in the retention of highly talented and skilled employees. Partner with Talent team to ensure principles of strength management as well as Human Resources to ensure top talent development and succession planning. QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate should have 10 years of relevant experience in sales & education, along with management/supervisory experience. Candidates must have strong leadership and management skills demonstrated by talent and consistent positive sales results. Able to lead, inspire and motivate a large, geographically dispersed sales/education team, establish a clear sales vision and build top talent for competitive advantage The ability to collaborate and achieve consensus with other groups is imperative. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Broad strategic thinker. Resilient and able to develop and communicate strategies to overcome obstacles - keep a long term view while achieving short term targets.
