Job Responsibilities and Requirements: 1. Develops Management Information Reports within specified timeframes and deliverable schedules 2. Develops and deploys effective reporting to reconcile operational and financial data from several sources to obtain and report results and adhere to reporting requirements 3. Independently identifies and investigates issues related to projects. Recommends alternatives which include system identification, remediation of issues, and documentation of analysis and resolution 4. Prepares, analyzes, and reviews data quality and accuracy of MIS reports which includes system and data reconciliations 5. Participates in the development of presentations, report layouts, definitions and documentation 6. May perform additional reconciliations and maintenance of various ad hoc reports to improve the efficiency of distribution and Management Information Systems related processes 7. May perform additional duties as assigned Reporting Relationship AVP, Data Management or above Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 1. Advanced knowledge of MIS related topics and technical procedures 2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve complex situations and issues 3. Experience leveraging analytical tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, and SQL preferred 4. Exposure to Business Objects, SAS, or Crystal Report development a plus 5. Must be results oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage or lead multiple projects effectively 7. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and build trusted relationships across different departments and all levels of management 8. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and other business-related systems 9. system knowledge and insurance background a plus Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree - preferably in MIS or equivalent Typically requires a minimum of three to five years of related MIS analysis, development, and technical experience Job Summary Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and energetic Data and Analytics team located in downtown Chicago. The team works collaboratively with our internal customers to deliver in all aspects of data, reporting, and analytics. Under minimal supervision, the MIS Reporting Senior Analyst develops and standardizes Management Information Reports to perform analysis identifying sources of reporting trends and data quality issues. Researches and assists in resolutions and reconciles information with financial results where appropriate. Investigates data anomalies and segment reporting issues to ensure accurate and timely distribution of reports. Tests, documents, and reviews completed reports to ensure proper Data and Analytics standards and procedures are met. Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1.
