Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The position has primary responsibility for the overall Client experience and will work within a team to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to their clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop new Wealth Management relationships through internal referral partners and external COIs. Ongoing relationship management of new client relationships. Leads the new business development initiative for Private Client opportunities and may also participate in other Institutional investment opportunities. Solicits business from potential clients including investment management, credit, deposits, and trust services. Profiles clients to determine financial goals, resources, assets available to invest, and credit needs. Builds long-term financial advisory relationships with clients. Understands financial planning principles and is able to discuss planning topics with clients and prospects at a high level. Anticipates future client needs and regularly calls on clients to proactively offer solutions to financial needs. Complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university plus five to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven track record of new business development success, including: prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiations, team selling, closing sales and asking for referrals. Candidates should have an existing network of professional Centers of Influence in the Wealth Management space. Strong relationship management and team building skills. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Certificates and Licenses CFP, CFA or other industry designation/license desired but not required.
