Job Responsibilities and Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees compliance with Federal and State requirements as it relates to retail construction and engineering design Represents Retail Support and works closely with Retail internal customers and stakeholders, including Real Estate, Retail Operations, Retail Merchandising, Retail Maintenance, Supply Chain and EH&S Supports maintenance escalations when focused engineering & construction support is required Set facility design requirements based on retail operations high level requirements Takes oversight role in identifying and mitigating operational risk in area of responsibility Establish documented Engineering standards for Retail Marketing to support construction and maintenance initiatives Performs high level analysis of capital and expense projects to ensure superior execution and policy compliance are being achieved Ensures environmental requirements are covered in scopes of work and associated contracts to ensure compliance effect support model is in place and scalable to me business growth projections Oversees AFE process to include review of documentation for compliance with Property Accounting policies Team supports capital asset creation and provides guidance to Property Accounting on applicable retirements Oversee team support of Retail Maintenance on updating RMS around asset replacement, including managing asset warranty information Works with Supply Chain to review and develop relationships with key vendors so that performance and reliability is maximized at the operational level Manages staff, reviews performance, identifies strengths and weaknesses, coaches team toward understandings construction and engineering best practices. Aligns organization structure and geographical location of team around business unit priorities and strategic direction Prepares budgets for areas of responsibility and participates in budgeting process. Manages project execution to align with Marketing Management direction around forecast vs. budget outlook EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field of study. Minimum 10 years of related retail and construction experience required. Minimum 5 years of experience managing people is required.
