Job Responsibilities and Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES: Write content to communicate with grassroots audiences across multiple mediums, including email, websites, and social media; brainstorm effective grassroots messaging for policy and political priorities and stay up to date with daily news cycles and Chamber activities and priorities; help develop related communications plans; track projects and grassroots activities for internal and external reporting; support the internal content calendar and the content approval process; and upload and manage content on the grassroots website. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s degree in English, marketing, communications, political science, or a related field; 1-2 years related work experience; exceptional and engaging writing skills with the ability to distill complex policy for a grassroots format and tone; able to work quickly and collaborate with a small team; skilled at building and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders; familiarity with tagging, tracking, and segmenting audiences in a CRM platform and general experience with CRM (ideally NationBuilder and Phone2Action); and a commitment to free enterprise principles. Capitol Hill or political campaign experience and familiarity with email and digital marketing a plus.
